State of the Union

http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2012/01/25/did-you-buy-what-obama-was-pitching-in-state-of-the-union-address/?hpt=hp_c1

This goes over the state of the union address which took place last night. "Hill, who is from Morehead City, North Carolina, said he felt the president is a "master storyteller," but needed to talk more actual substance about bypassing Congress" Do you think the things that Obama were saying are actually possible or do you think that he is a "Master storyteller"?

  1. I agree with Hill. I think Obama has a way with words that captivates the people, but he had his time for "change" and now its someone else's turn. No We Cant...

  2. I agree as well. Obama is just a good speaker. He really has nothing to offer. Hank Williams Jr. said it best what the hell is he out playing golf for when the country is in the shape that it is.

  3. Depending on what happens in the next election will determine whether or not Obama's programs will work. Not saying that I agree or disagree with them, but if he doesn't win, he doesn't have much of a chance. All things aside, he is a very good speaker.

  4. Obama is a very charismatic speaker and I believe that he is in a very difficult situation as President right now. There are so many problems that he needs to deal with, so it is basically impossible for him to make everyone happy.

  5. I agree with Colleen, as president during a time period of economic hardship its impossible to satisfy everyone, especially when that economic hardship is effecting the job market as much as it has been. Despite whether his programs are good or bad, his ability to articulate and allow his charisma to reach people is an aspect of a president that is necessary in a time period where technology is king.
