Obama Faces Task of Selling Dueling Budget Ideas

President Obama releases his budget plans today and faces the challenge of persuading voters that he has a long-term plan to reduce the deficit, even as he highlights the stimulus spending and tax cuts that increase deficits in the short term. What is your opinion on the president's proposal and do you think it is possible to accomplish?

  1. Cutting on programs would be coutneracting Obama's own proposals during his first campaigns, but I think it is a reasonable step to take. The long term goals are important because the amount of deficit, $4 trillion Is not something that can be solved over night. I appreciate how the government is considering to reduce its deficit now。
